Skaters in the Cowgate


Ever since the original venue of the Gilded Balloon in the Cowgate burnt down, Edinburgh has been trying to do something with the vacant space. This year at the Festival Fringe there is a skating park and lots of sand. I don't know if that's all it does (I saw a Box Office) but it is usually just something for people above on South Bridge to gawp at and take photos of (i.e. me).
