This St Andrew Cross in the Grassmarket, at the bottom of the West Bow, marks the spot of public executions in Edinburgh.

Upper Bow

This short truncated street ends on the terrace above Victoria Street, but was once part of the main route between the Grassmarket and the Castle before the roads were all changed in the 19th century.
