Milne's Court

Milne's (or Mylne's) Court was built in 1690 to help make some space in the crowded tenements on the Lawnmarket on the Royal Mile. The alley above looks down onto Bank Street (at the top of the Mound) and in the distance can be seen the Scottish National Gallery, Princes Street, George Street and Fife. The building to the left is Assembly Hall.

Junction

This is the four-ways junction between Lothian Road, Princes Street, Queensferry Street and Shandwick Place. Quite a nightmare of traffic, especially with roadworks.

Took a walk up to the Castle Esplanade this afternoon and took some shots. This is Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens.

Emptiness

This was a while back when there was a fire in Princes Street and it was blocked off, giving me an opportunity to get a good empty street shot.
